This video begins by looking at single selection controls such as the DropDownList, the ComboBox, the RadioButtonList, the ListBox and the DataList controls. We first look at the similarities and differences of each of these — both in terms of purpose and appearance as well as properties and methods. Here we spend time examining templated controls — how they work, and how a template can host other controls and capture events. Next we look at multiple selection controls such as the ListBox and CheckBoxList controls.
